CARE-Link (Clinical Assistant for Remote Engagement) is an open-source, web-based electronic health records (EHR) software designed to improve the management of chronic diseases, specifically gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).

What is CARE-Link?¶
CARE-Link links clinicians and patients through an LLM-mediated workflow. It aggregates patient-generated data outside the hospital, summarizes relevant clinical information, and delivers context-aware decision support to clinicians.
Key Capabilities¶
- For Clinicians: A comprehensive dashboard to manage patient records, view priority cases, and receive AI-generated clinical summaries.
- For Patients: A WhatsApp-based interface (CARE-GDM) for education, reminders, and daily support.
- AI Integration: continuous monitoring and conversation analysis to detect emergencies and non-adherence.
