CARE-Link facilitates a continuous loop of care, ensuring no data point is lost between visits.

The Closed-Loop Process

  1. Patient Reporting

    • Patient sends updates (symptoms, glucose logs) via WhatsApp.
    • Multimedia support allows voice notes.
  2. AI Analysis

    • The Chatbot Service processes the message.
    • Emergency Detection runs to check for clinical red flags.
    • Response is generated (supportive or educational) and sent back.
  3. Clinical Dashboard Update

    • Critical events appear in the Priority Cases panel.
    • Conversation logs are stored in the database.
  4. Clinical Consultation

    • Clinician opens Add New Record.
    • AI Agent pre-fills "Current Complaints" based on chat history.
    • Clinician reviews, edits, and saves the new treatment plan.
  5. Follow-up

    • System schedules reminders based on the new plan.
    • Patient receives updated guidance.

Example Scenario

Patient (32 weeks pregnant): "I feel dizzy and the baby is moving a lot less."

System: 1. Detects "dizziness" and "reduced fetal movement" as red flags. 2. Advises patient to go to the hospital immediately (if configured for emergency advice). 3. Flags patient on Clinician Dashboard as "URGENT". 4. When clinician opens file, summary shows: "Reported reduced fetal movement and dizziness at 10:00 AM."
